How big of a harddrive will ME support if I had to replace 1 ? Most of the ones today are huge , will ME support these huge drives?

It's not just what ME will support but what your PC will support. It's likely your PC won't properly see a drive larger than about 120 gig. Anything larger than that requires a bios that's 48-bit LBA compliant.

ME will probably have the same limitations as 98. Again that will be about 120 gig.

There are ways around the bios limitation. The best being an add-on ATA card to connect the drive to. And a larger drive could be partitioned such that no partition is larger than 120 gig. But unless you have a good reason to put a really large drive in that thing, you're probably better off with something around 80 gig. I imagine that's bigger than the drive you have in there now.
