how would you use fdisk to count a slave drive as a partition of the first drive?

haven't seen that work, if you have master set as master and slave as slave and gone into bios/setup and detected the drive ,then windows should see it as d: or next higher
drive letter,if first drive is partitioned.

I have a c: drive set as master and d: is slave, had to use detect harddrive in bios/setup to get windows to see it.
google search for instructions for installing a slave drive

Get Windows 2000 Pro or Windows XP Pro (don't know about the Home version) and set up Dynamic Disks
