The word is that Partition Magic is like AOL, you either love it or hate it but I have seen many comments on here about adverse effects using PM8 Why dont you just use Fdisk and partition away from there. PS to find your RAM size just right click on MY Computer, chosse properties and it will be there in glorius colour. Wolfey

The answer to your question is maybe.
With 3rd party partitioning apps like PM8.. the help file and the press on the box says "yes" you can alter them without affecting your data.. but as we all know.. nothing is 100% and you might be the 1 out of 20 or 20000 that loses everything.
Back your data up to removable disk before attempting anything. Then you can reload it if something goes wrong. Once you have your data backed up.. might as well use fdisk [free] as wolfey suggested.
How did you get multiple partitions in the first place? Got a compaq? Another OEM that sticks system files on a hidden partition? Before deleting/altering anything.. make sure you know whats on it.
