A partition of 137GB is the largest partition that you can safely use with Windows ME. So a 160GB drive has to FDISK'ed into at least two partitions.
The Windows ME FISK program does not correctly show (display) partitions that large, as does several part of the System properties code. But this is just a problem displaying the sizes.
If you system board BIOS did not correctly recognize a drive that big, then its BIOS does not support drives that big. There may be a BIOS update for the board.
