My computer slowly starts to hang after being connected for a while. Like there are to many things trying to run at the same time.
As well as the coolweb crap.

Hi

Several things you need to do..

1. Antivirus Program..AVG offers free one with free regular updates...dont run puter without it.

AVG Free Antivirus

2. Online virus scan...not saying for sure there is infection but that is one of the first things i suspect when things slow down out of the ordinary.

Rav antivirus scan online

Housecall

Pandascan

Trojanscan

I would run those online scans first because sometimes trying to install an antivirus program while infected gives problems.

3. download CWShredder to remove cool web search hijack...you know you have that.

CWShredder download

Download, unzip, d.click the cwshredded.exe file, next, next, exit. reboot.

4. Empty out all your temporary internet files and cookies.

5. Download either/or ad-aware, spybot search and destroy..(i use both) update them after install and run their scans. I usually suggest letting them remove what they find but that will disable some programs such as kazaa or groxter if you have it. If you have antivirus program installed by now..you will need to turn it off during these scans to prevent conflicts.
Probably better to be disconnected from net after you update spyware scanners to run the scans so the junk isn't trying to "call home"
Reboot after each scan.
Those programs will remove most of the junk running and you will see huge difference. many of those junkware programs are running in the background (you dont see it) calling home to their servers..(just like trojans do) which is why your puter is so slow

Ad-aware

Spybot

6. Once you have cleaned out what you can with the above procedures then post your fresh hijack log in the security/virus forum. Do state you ran spybot and ad-aware and virus scan...or post gets deleted..forum rule and we can help you clean up the rest with hijack.

Well you have alot of work to do..

Merry Christmas!
