Help I’m a Novice User and need some advice
After installing a bunch of Windows Updates from Microsoft, Windows IE 5 would not load. I downloaded IE6 – this didn’t work either. I went to the Add/Remove programs and uninstalled IE6 to restore to previous version of IE.
Computer restarted and now hangs with the blue background. I have no start menu or desktop icons – all I have is my cursor which I can move around the screen.
I have been trying to use the system restore feature of ME outlined in the previous link. I have followed all the information exactly and get to the Program Manager on the screen, however, when I try to launch the system restore I get a blank white window with the system restore heading?
