Under WINME the grahics that I copy
to WORD or any other application are completely distorted. The colors
loud to say the least. In fact when I
look at same via WIN98 my office pc they are good. Is there an adjustment?
I know WINME still

first off im not an expert:
my first thought was...possible its your monitor or some other hardware device? have you tried taking these images to your office and opening them up on the win98 box to compare? my second thought...right click on your desktop and select "properties" then select "settings" and check to see if the color settings are the same as at the office. for instance mine is set as 32bit true color.
im not sure if this is related but..
i once created a bitmap with text on a machine with font smoothing disabled. i uploaded it to the web and the next day checked out the site at the office on a machine with font smoothing turned on. my bitmap stayed unchanged with the broken edges. This setting is not simply for the monitor but actually does soemthing to the fonts or im losing my mind/seeing things or made that last part up...:) hope this helps.
