You can go to the ATI web site and read instructions on installing a updated driver. I also have an ATI 7000 32M.B. PCI Graphics card(no AGP Slot)and untill recently I was still using the originial driver off the installation CD. I wanted to update to the newer catalyst driver for the RADEON series of graphics card ,however the instructions ATI suppot sent me, had me editing the registry ,uninstalling all of my ATI software and reinstalling , see I also have the ATI TV Wonder USB Edition and it works prefectly. Then they informed me that their DVD player included in the Multi Media Center wont work with the TV Wonder and to not insrtall it or I will have problems, yet I installed a version of WinDVD by InterVideo that works with the ATI graphics card with no prob ,weird stuff, that their own products would not work together. I even updated to DirctX ver9.0c with the originial driver with no problem ,so I figured if it aint broke dont fix it. I finally did update the driver using the Windows Update site ,without having to do all of the uninstalling stuff, it installed fine and my system is still stable ! FYI , my PC is a P3 750MHZ 256M.B.SDRAM ! Good Luck Nick
