I am getting a GPF error after WinMe gives me the shutdown screen. Means I can only power down by pulling the plug.
AMDk6-2 450 (yep got this thing cooled!)
64mb ram
vanta 32mb vid
sb128pci

Hope someone can help...

run msconfig....UNCHECK everything except, systray, scanregistry, taskmonitor, stimon (if you have a scanner). I know I give this advice out ALOT, but it certainly clears up alot of probs (not all, but alot). If your running virus software, uncheck this also, better yet, UNInSTALL it.....

Just some ideas, hope it's helpful

I did already try all the things you suggest but still it gives me the error. I have updated all the drivers. But it does shutdown
in Safe Mode...

I am lost..
