Get rid of firewall

Trying to use kazaa, or any other program besides IE....but can't because of a "firewall"...wtf...tried using HTTPort, doesn't work.

It should be listed as a program under add/remove programs in control panel. Uninstall it from there.

if you are running behind a hardware firewall (linksys for example) only the administrator can change options.

is a good place to see what the firewall is about though it is talking only about the bearshare software.

BTW, response N0.3, dated 15aug03 by Mr.Trey, is I guess to bring in a bit of humour since otherwise it is quite a misleading answer.
