Hi, I just purchased a Daytona GeForce2 MX 400 64meg agp card w/tv out OEM. I uninstalled the old driver, installed the standard vga driver and then installed the cd drivers. The computer works fine and the games play great for about 10-15 minutes then the whole computer locks up, this only happens when playing 3d games, listening to Mp3's or just browsing seams to work fine, no lockups. The only way around this is too power down completely and boot back up. I tried these games , each lockup anywhere from 10-30 minutes..
Everquest
Counter Strike/Half-Life
Tribes 2
Soldier of Fortune

I have tried running the games in low 640x480 settings and openGL and Direct3d , but with 64megs of video ram they should have no problem running at 1024x768..
Here are the specs on the computer: Any help would be greatly appreciated

AMD Athlon 700 Thunderbird SLOT
FIC SD11 motherboard SLOT
10gb western digital
192megs of RAM
Realtek NIC with @home cable
40x cd
sound blaster live gold
Windows ME
DirectX 8.0

reinstalled Windows ME once already and then installed directx 8
Just installed latest drivers from Nvidia/Daytona.
Please help!

Go to www.m3dzone.com and download the 11.01 drivers. I believe NVidia's last official release is 6.50. Also, make sure you have directx 8.0a. Last, install the latest via 4-in-1 drivers for your motherboard.

I have also heard that you may have to set your AGP to 2x instead of 4x.

I have the exact same problem. I also see page faults with GDI.exe (Graphical device interface). I have tried many fixes, including off all hardware acceleration. Have you solved this issue? Maybe there is a BIOS upgrade for the GE card?

Same problem here, but after rebooting and the scandisk is running, there's a little sound buffer from the game that was running when the machine crashed.

intel D850GB Mainboard
Tornado GeForce2 AGP MX400 64MB w/TV out

Latest Nvidia Drivers

Lockups with Nascar Racing 4 & Porsche Unleashed (I think the problem is with any hw accelerated app)
