Fujitsu Hard Drive

On start up my computer beeps three times then says primary master HDD error, run setup. The Bios detects my hard drive settings but will not load c drive - I have tried using a start up disk & fdisk! I have a Fujitsu MPG3307AT hdd - (I have also check cables, jumbers etc and all seem ok. I think I need a new hdd luckley I do not need the data on it as I have already save it. Does anyone have any idea's? Many Thanks

Go to their web site and download the Drive Fitness Test and place it on a floppy and boot up and run the test.

Thanks for helping, but I cannot find the test software on Fujitsu website. I did find FJDT (Fujitsu ATA Diagnostic Tool)this identified my hdd but could not save a test file on it, it gave the error code A198G0 and told me to refer to the supplier. Is this what you mean?
I have searched the web for the test software but I cannot find one for Fujitsu.
Can you help?

Yes, Actually the program i refered to was for the Hitachi HD. But most all Hardware manufactures have a program an their web site for testing the hard drive. Call or email Fujitsu the code and see what they advise.
