Hello!

I am unable to login to Internet Explorer. I ran Spybot S&D, and AdAware and came up clean on both. I also ran Scandisk and Defragged the computer. When I click on Internet Explorer I get a a message that states, "Explorer had caued an error in Kernel32.DLL and will now close." I get the same message over and over. Does anyone have any advice on how I can correct this error?

Zeke849, perhaps IE has become corrupted and you need another copy. Before you condem it though, be aware that what you describe sounds suspiciously like the work of a nasty. A virus or spyware sound like likely candidates, but don't forget about a Trojan.
Be aware that a virus and a Trojan are similar, but not the same. Many times, an AV detects one it can't clean , other times, it gets missed entirely. Could also be a false positive from your AV.
If you need to clean it, A² can do the job and you can get it free @:

among other places. If it turns out that you need to use it, be sure to update prior to running. They just released a new update recently and it changes all the time. Things are in a constant state of flux.

This happened to me when I had a Trojan.

Thank you, Ed in Texas. You always come through. I did download A 2 and will run it at home tongiht. But, I plan to upgrade to XP. Too many freeze ups and crashes on ME. Five years is enough.

Thanks again.
