Help! My computer has always shut down properly for the last three years. It is an ATX form factor motherboard and power supply. I upgraded to WinMe about a year ago and everything was fine until now. When I go to shut down, it says "It is now safe to turn Your computer off". Is this fixable?

mine does a similar thing, but if I leave it for...about 20-30 seconds it just shuts down then all by its self..

haven't changed any bios settings have you?
