I'm running MSOffice on WinME which is an old box. I only use it in a very rare occasion. In my recollection, several years ago I created PDF files from Word documents with a PDF driver installed on the OS, using the print method to print Word doc to PDF file. It was very simple. Unfortunately I could not recall.
