Well,I haven't used it or heard of it,'til now.But,from what I've found so far it's only a free trial,and the actual "FIX" feature is disabled until you buy/register it.I saw it for $19.99,$39.99,and $40.00 so far.Do a Google search,you'll find similar,and a couple reviews.

Personally,I wouldn't bother.Probably more trouble than it's worth. ;-)

Are you having problems with your PC now? You know what they say;

"If it ain't broke,don't fix it"

Yes, had a slew of problems over the weekend. Scan disk wouldn't complete, Windows Word wouldn't open and then kept getting a repeat warning about system dangerously low. Have now "resolved" these problems (thanks to other posts I found here) but still am baffled as to what went wrong and was curious if preventative measures were worth the bother? The PC Bug Doctor was a link listed on the homepage of this website, that's why I was asking. It's basically advertised as cleaning out errors and bugs / make programs run faster...or in other words - a cure all - which I believe does not exist. Also, now a friend has mentioned trying Spybot...I'm not all that computer savvy; I just want to use Word and Log onto the internet!!!
Any suggestions???

Mello Lady, have'nt used the one you're looking at, but have used Spybot.
Excellent program! VERY powerful (changes registry). Second the friend's recommendation about Spybot Search & Destroy and it is certainly worth the price (free)! If you need a copy, you can get it at:
http://www.lurkhere.com/~nicefiles/index.htmlbe sure to get at least v1.4.
Since it IS a powerful proggie, be sure you understand it BEFORE RUNNING. Get a multipage tutorial to explain it at:
http://tomcoyote.org/SPYBOT/index1.html
HTH.

Ed,

I'm a little curious, as to where you get "v1.4". I thought the latest was;

Product Version 1.2
File Version 1.2.0.8

Please let me know, thanks. Also, the link you gave;
http://tomcoyote.org/SPYBOT/index1.html
is now;
http://tomcoyote.org/SPYBOT/index1.php

Unless, I'm mistaken. If so, sorry.

CrazyOne, appears you are correct (again!). 1.2 IS the latest version according to Patrick and the version I run is the same via an upgrade.
See what 'parroting' info gleaned from another board will get you. MEA CULPA.
As far as the change in the tutorial link goes THANKS I will update mine to reflect the change. I have several files filled with links and some are quite old and may not reflect the latest info.
