I just bought a Micronpc.com computer. I love it. Except for the fact it has WinME. Nothing that I own works for it. The one that mainly kills me is my dsl modem. And no there isnt drivers for WinME. I was wondering if I can safely format my hard drive and still have everything working fine. 1 problem...the drivers for the sound card, modem and etc are for WinME only. But the sticker on the front of the computer says...

Designed for
Microsoft
Windows ME
Windows 98

Ive never seen a sticker with both operating systems on it. Can someone give me some info if i can format and be able to use my sound card. The 56k modem i dont care about since i have dsl. And also will my comp lose power with the downgrade? Thanks.

Go for it - Most if not all Me Drivers work with 98 But not the other way round. You may even see a GAIN in performance!
