First, make sure you have a Win 98 or Me "startup disk". Click on My Computer, right click on C: and click on Format. Then restart your computer with the start up disk, watch for the CD-ROM drive letter that the computer assigns and choose CD-ROM support. Insert the CD for your Win 98 and then when you see A:> type the CD-ROM drive letter let's say it's D:. So type D:setup That should point your computer to your Win 98 CD and start the installation. If D: doesn't do it try E:. Make sure you have everything backed up before you format because all will be lost.
