Fonts having problem

Well I dont know what went wrong but some of my fonts are not working properly. For example in Windows Media Player insted of proper wordings or text its just boxes out there which i think is a kind of font. The songs list is ok but the text on the buttons is gone and there are boxes out there.

Same is the case with all windows setups.

Then i tried to delete some fonts having boxes in them from control panel and know even Flash MX is having the same problem.In Flash,in the action window its all boxes out there. I have Compaq Presario and Windows ME is installed on the system. May be reinstalling windows will do but i have Windows 98 setup on my comp and that will not install on Windows ME. What should i do ??????

Can somebody tell me a site from where i can download windows fonts (MS Sans Serif).

Seen viruses that do that...change your fonts and put windings etc. in their place so you can't read them .

Get that checked first.

C:\WINDOWS\OPTIONS\INSTALL\MINI.CAB contains some of the default fonts.

try online virus scan at housecall anti virus to rule out that as a problem
