Maybe,,,,,, you,,,, do,, but ''''invalid hash''',,,,,, indicates a ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, corrupt or changed

file (maybe you've been smoking it?)

Have you checked the file's properties? (You know how to do that, right?)

Why do you want to know - or - (in other words) what's your 'real question' about?

We've heard that a million monkeys at a million keyboards could produce the complete works of Shakespeare; now, thanks to the Internet, we know that is not true

I found the fnfilter listed in the sfplog.TXT in the sfplog it stated the fnfilter had been deleted and could not be replaced, the only smoke around here is coming from the hot air you continue to blow up my a$$ ! Iasm sorry that my level of the command of the english language does not rise up to your level, however it always hard to please someone who is obsessive complusive and anal retentive at the same time ! Please put my post on ignore so you no longer have to be bothered by my short comings ,Iam begging you .I do not need your help nor do I want it. There are far to many kind people around this site and other web sites to be bothered with your nit picky comments. You must be a English teacher ,and one tha I pray to God neither of my kids gets one simular! However I wil still thank you I do not ever want to be percieved as one that does not appreciate what perhaps you believe to be help ?

The Dll you were asking about:

Go to my computer C:

driver5.cab in Windows Me

It is used for digital cameras.

Response 3 was not needed.

I enjoyed response 1 because it was
funny and still a perfect response to
your post.

>>>Iam curious if anyone knows what the fnfilter.dll is for?<<<

You still dont know what it is I want to know ? I believe I see two ?'s ,both from my first post !
Take Care Nick
P.S. Poster # 4 ,you would have to know my exprience with Jboy as far as the responses he has given to what appears every post I place here at computing.net ! Jeez , I somethimes offer help if I've had a simular exprience with a PC problem and many times I ask others for help ,ever since jboy has started seeing my post ,he seems to find some morbid pleasure in knocking my typing abilities ,which I will be the first to admit are substandard , my use of commas and other things non relavent to post ,its like as easy going as Iam this guy has gotten my blood pressure up ,to his enjoyment apprently. However now I will simply ignore anything he has to say ,so he can waste his time all he wants ,lifes to short. Thats the last you will hear from me on this subject !
Going on a vacation.

I started off that way but,I have learned to
laugh with jboy.

He has a offbeat sense of humor sometimes......

That's right up my alley.

I found out when your wrong on computing.net
someone is always there to let you know.

Lighthearted wit is the only thing that keeps some of us going on this site.

No one ever means to cause you anger.

The sly remarks are all meant in fun.LOL

As for the fnfilter.dll.....

I knew it was in driver cab 5 of windows ME
nothing more.

Searching on google kept leading me to that
dll and cameras......Go Figure.

Hi street1,
You know after reading your last reply ,you are right ,why take his comments so seriously ,perhaps he just has a differant take when it coomes to his sense of humor .Your advice is good and greatly appreciated. You take care ,and thanks for the help. I found the fnfilter.dll in driver cab.5 on my hard drive. I would be curious if any software that comes with a digitial camera would provide this .DLL when you install what ever application comes with the camera ? Since my sfplog.TXT is reporting my version of this .DLL as being corrupted. I have also found web sites that have these .DLL's you can download for free, once again my ignorance of certain ways these machines work prevent me from downloading it because I dont know where to place it on my system ? Thanks again and have a good day !
Sincerely ,Nick

I enjoy jboy's comments. He's knows his stuff & even though some of his responses may "sting" a bit, his advice is almost always right on the mark.

It gets frustrating trying to help someone who refuses to accept the help he/she's being offered...especially when you know it's right! The vast majority of your problems & the cause of your incessant posting can be traced back to your refusal to format/reinstall WinME. Believe me, formatting is NOT something I usually recommend...I think it should be used as a last resort. But you've been struggling with this system since December?

Here's what you wrote yesterday:

"I have my PC almost completely restored to where I wanted it and that was done with out a 10 hour format and re-install process !"

Not bad...it's only taken 7 months & you've 'almost' got it where you want it.

Nick Ritche-I e-mailed you a copy of driver cab 5 for Windows Me.

C:\ windows\options\install is where it is supposed to be located in Windows ME.

Let us know if this helps.

I still read jams response and LOL,
When you finish this adventure....

You should be well versed on Windows ME.

Maybe Uncle Billy will hire you.
