hey.

i think this is one of the spyware files installed with imesh. so if you use this at all, try uninstalling then reinstalling imesh and it might replace the missing file. then go and download AdAware (available at www.downloads.com for example)to safely remove the spyware.

good luck

FLT is an adware program, it was programmed in C language, what it does it takes your internet connection resourses to pop-up windows of ads, I have studied this program becuase it ws imposible for me to navigate on the internet after 2 months of researching I finally removed succesfully from my system without affecting other programs like Imesh, etc., if you want to unnistall it do the following

1.- From Control Panel (add/remove programs) check if the FLT program is listed, if it is the remove it, dont worry if you are prompted by a window saying that the unnistalition has failed
2.- Shut down your computer, now start it in safe mode, go to file manager or explorer window, locate the path c:\program files\flt
then remove the complete folder FLT, and empty your recycle bin

The FLT will be removed from your hard disk, and it wont work anymore, also I have checked the Windows Registry File, and the FLT program is there but dont worry it will not work anymore, if you want detailed instruction on how to remove it from the registry you can e-mail me, managing the registry file should be modified for experieced people.

Also check for other programs like CMEII, Bargain Buddy and Gator, and removit from your system if you dont want pop-ups

Good Luck

Go to FIND FILES from the START menu.
Look for FLT.
Delete the folder.
It worked for me.

or insert the Win 98 disk. Add / Remove programs is available on that.
(But FLT wasn't there for me to remove it, although I could have removed iMesh using this if the above hadn't worked)
