floppy?

Every time I open a window my floppy drive is activated then window opens.Same with all files & folders.It don't seem to hurt anything just takes time.Are there settings that might change this. ICel 900mhz HP ME:
hello mine does the same for a few days after useing floppy and than goes back to normal i dont think its a problem but as long as what you acessed is still in documents list it will keep doing this. have a nice day

not sure if this is of any help.. go to system properties - performance - and then files system - under floppy drive is the box checked?..
