flickering lines

i have a msi k7n2g-l motherboard with gforce4 igp, and i get flickering lines when in windows, i have tried, changing operating sys, resolution, bios settings, tried 2 other monitors, my monitor is built in 1995, tried it on a 1998 monitor and the lines were not as bad, but lines are still there. have moved all speakers, lamps etc away.
please help its driving me mad.!!!!

Try changing the refresh rate of your display adapter and see if that helps..
