I was at Hallmark to view cards and to download to see flash cards. The download appeared to be successful but it can't be found and still can't view the cards. I have a flash player6.0 on desktop but it says it is a Bin not an exe. I keep getting a message to download Visual Basic Scripting to view the page, but I can already view it.Please please help.

Re: Hallmark.....Look in C:\windows\temp file and also "My Documents" Icon on
your Desktop. Otherwise at the desktop I would click: start\find\files and folders\.....enter the name of the file and click "find now". Look at the files you have found and if that file is there then click on it and it will take you to it, then you can put it where you want it. You should always make a nest for any downloads before you start the download itself. How else would you expect to know where it will go? You must tell the puter where to put all things for this reason.

Re: Flashplayer.....Read and clearly understand all things you intend to download. Many programs require other program downloads in order to work correctly. In this case forget Visual Basic, that is a programmers item for writing script. I don't see how that got into the picture (but I bet you know).....LOL. I say to download the Flashplayer again and pay more attention to what you are doing. It takes some time and sweat but your efforts will finally be rewarded little by little as you braincells begin to work collectively.....Ha Ha.

WEll I do have flash player as I went to another site for viewing flash cards and am able to view. At Hallmark I cannot view and that Visual Basic Scripting Supprt message comes up to download this to view the page. Other card sites work with the flash player. When I was told to download flash at first I was not given an option to put it anywhere. Kazaa messed up my whole system and I got rid of it. Could it have done this too. I pay attention to what I am downloading if I have options but on Hallmark it says to download and when you see this picture it is installed.

Go to tools/internet options/general tab, then under temporary internet files, click settings. This will bring up another page, click view objects. It will bring up a list of your downloaded files, these are the active X downloads. It should be listed there under shockwave active X. When you download flash player, it runs from it's present location, you don't save it. If it is working, it is probably installed correctly. It will tell you here whether it is installed or damaged.
