I have a computer from my mother in law.. it is a dinosaur..
There are 1500 pics on there of hers...she wants..
I have PNY flashdrives.... but none of them are recongnized ...probably because she has the ME edition. How do I remove the pics... the rest of the info can be lost.. but the pics are special to her (of the grandkids)
please respond to: zima0206@hotmail.com
I was told I could find a driver to install so it would recognize the flash drive and I do know how to send pics to it.. I do that with my XP puter now.
THANK YOU FOR ANY AND ALL HELP
if this is not the way that i should be going.. the please advise.
THANK YOU !!!
A happy mother in law is a good thing !

If your computer is that old - like mine!, it will probably have USB1.1 ports
I found this information on the PNY Technologies site.
If you’ve purchased an Attaché that is 128MB or greater, this is a USB 2.0 drive and requires the USB 2.0 driver. The 64MB Attaché is a USB 1.1 drive and therefore requires the USB 1.1 driver. .
I use a Kingston Technologies Data Traveller 1GB flash drive , which works with 1.1 and 2.0 . 1GB flash drives a pretty cheap nowadays.
Otherwise you might buy some CD’s and burn the photos onto themTomg
