When I go to the system properties in the performance tab it sais some of the drives are using MS-DOS compatibility mode. In the detail it sais thats because a driver or program in your autoexec.bat or config.sys file but there is nothing in it. and when I cleanboot windows ME the problem is stil there.

Are there any yellow explination or question marks in your device manager?? Are the correct drivers loading for your IDE controller?? Was it allways running like this or did this just start to happen! Are you running the Full Version or did you upgrade!!

there is only a question mark for my PCI Mass Storage Controller, I didn't upgrade windows ME and is was like this from the first time I went to the system properties page. and for the IDE controller it has the correct drivers and works fine.
