My windows won't load and I can only work with my dos, the C: prompt - this is what I see on my screen:
"The following is missing or corrupted: C:\Windows\System\VMM32.VXD. Type the name of the windows loader"
Exactly what is a windows loader? Please help me. I am very new to computers and getting very frustrated.....Thanks!!!

Extract VMM32.VXD from...
C:\Windows\Options\Install\Win_20.cab
and place into C:\Windows\System folder.

DO NOT extract vmm32 from the Windows CD.
The file there is only a shell. The real file is built at windows installation time and is unique to each PC/Configuration

wow this just happened to me on the this month , I already Formatted and im back. lol
same VMM32.VXD . WOULD ONLY LOAD win IN SAFE MODE. I did'nt screw around and had a whole
lot of work to do Ha.
