umm... i don't quite know if this will work or not, but since it ends with .tmp i think it's a temporary file and you need to go into your temporary internet files and clear it out of there. I don't know if this will quite cause harm or not so make a copy of it to put it back there.

it's worth a try?

You could try,
<START> <SETTINGS> <CONTROL PANEL>
Double click <ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS>
Find and Highlight EXPLORER
Click ADD/REMOVE and a box should come up
with choices. Select the one to Repair EXPLORER.
Good Luck

I may have read your message wrong as I see now you were probably referring to Windows Explorer and not Microsoft Internet Explorer.
If you ever need to repair IE you will find it in the ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS listed as
Microsoft Internet Explorer.
Sorry about the error I made in reading the message.
I don't feel that I can help otherwise.

You have a virus called TROJ_SMALL.XC...
Go to GOOGLE and search for
windows system msmc.exe
it will direct you to TREND follow the directions and delete this from your registry then do a scan of your harddrive to remove completely.

hope this works
Good Luck
