Explorer caused error ws2_32.dll

Just installed a NIC on a pc running win ME, drivers installed fine, no conflicts in device manager. Everytime I boot up "Explorer has caused an error in Ws2_32.dll" appears. What should I do to fix this??

hello
try a diferant pic slot.
try reinstalling its drivers.
try removeing it from device manager and reboot.
