ok i have a computer a real old one that i never fixed b/c i bought a way better one ok so i start my computer up and i get an error saying Exploere.exe something and it says i have to reinstall windows is there anyway to get past that? without having to install windows?

sorry i was in a hurry to get some help quick and didnt put down much detail
heres my problem on my old computer which is p2 333mhz 64 ram OS-ME about 7 months ago i was installing a av scan after it was installed it asked me to restart my computer so i did when my computer restarted up a message box came up with the following" error loading exeplorer.exe you must reinstall windows" when u press ok it shuts ur comp down. now what im wanting to know is there a way to get past that erorr or fix it without having to reinstall windows because i dont have any OSes cept the ones on my computers. another thing ive seen OSes on floppy disks is there anyway of taking one of those and installing it from A:\ pormpt

Using a start up disk and the license number for ME , On boot up with floppy screen appears with options minimal boot A:\C:\ type CD WINDOWS\OPTIONS\INSTALL C:\windows\options\install type setup It will reinstall without loosing data
