Hi,

I try to run a program, and I get the message "... expects a newer version of Windows. Update your Windows version."
I close that prompt and get the message "A device attached to the system is not functioning."

I am guessing that this program was created to run on only XP and Vista, but is there a possible work-around for ME? If it helps, here is the program I am trying to run (http://starfleetproject.com/begin/Begin300b142.zip). It is a small game, and nothing is too complex about it that it would require XP/Vista, but like I said, I don't think it was made to work with the older operating systems.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you,
Rob

Did you unzip the zip file? If so, is there an exe that you're trying to run? You could try running it in compatibility mode.

Thanks for the reply. I did unzip it and tried running the contained .exe. Does WinME have a compatibility mode?
