when i open a excel file old or new it works allright untill i click on a box. it then locks on that box and highlights any boxes i move the mouse to, as if i was holding down the mouse button. the only way i can get out is to ctrl, alt, delete to get out of the file.
thanks

Try this...It will almost always fix MS Office problems.

Make sure that your search option is set to search for hidden files and folders (folder options)

search for the file called NORMAL.DOT (it is a msword template), when you find it delete it. Then reboot the system. This should fix your problem.
