Target Ne2000 comp. adapter with Winbond W89C940F chip is reconised during new hw scan as an ethernetadapter. However after installing the drivers windows ME messages that no ethernet adapter is found when homenetwork wizzard is started. What can be the problem?

i have a non pnp novell/anthem ne2000 adapter, i have installed on a pentium @ 90 Mhz win 95 and it work so fine. Now i upgrade my machine to a K62 @ 500 and win me and windows dont recognize it. thanks
