errors/freezing/rebooting playing CD

Recently when I try to listen to an audio CD on my computer, if I try doing anything else like opening another program, I get blue screen errors or it locks up or just spontaneously reboots. I have had the most trouble with spontaneous reboots. I have a Pentium 3, 450 mHz computer and a Sound Blaster Audigy card and I play the CD's through Winamp. Norton Antivirus is also running if that makes a difference.
