Hi...I Had This Error Before..& I Know I Can Fix It Easily..But I Forgot How To.. WHEN I INSTALL SOUNDMAN..AFTER TIME..THE AUDIO SOUND ATUMATICLY BECOMES UNCLEAR..NOW I DELETED SOUNDMAN..BUT STILL ..WHEN I PLAY MUSIC (its like under water) .. I UPDATED THE DRIVERS FROM DEVICE MANAGER..NOTHING HAPPENED..WHAT CAN I DO??

Sometimes a updated driver just dont work well .Thats what happen with my graphics card ,I installed the newly released driver update ,that was suppose to give the card all of these added benifits .Well all it did was cause my very stable system to freeze up radomly ,radom errors etc. I uninstalled te new driver and went back to originial driver and all is well again. If you wish B/4 you go back to originial driver ,you can try removing the sound card in device manager and then upon reboot the system will reconize the hardware and prompt you to reinstall it, this may correct your problem with your sound .After my exprience ,I now will only update a driver on hardware when Iam having problems with it ,the old "if it aint broke dont fix it" ,line of thinking !
