after plugging in my digital camera i can't open my display settings. a microsoft visual c++ runtime window pops up,"program c:\windows\rundll32.exe abnormal program termination." the camera is a medion md 40820 digital camera with 40820 drivers installed. no virus detected with avg and no spyware either. Never look down on someone unless you are trying to help them up.

Have you checked the digital camer vendors web site for information and fixes to their program for their "bugs" or newer drivers. You might try installing the drivers again, and this time follow instructions about closing other programs (like your AV and Firewall). Reboot system, close SysTray programs, install, Reboot system.

ok, i checked out medion's website and found nothing. installed drivers according to instruction. i have ran goback 3 times and tried over but still get error. i'll try safe mode and see if that works. Never look down on someone unless you are trying to help them up.
