As soon as I boot up my computer I start getting error messages such as:
Explorer has caused an error in SHDOCVW.DLL. Explorer will now close. If you continue to experience problems, try restarting your computer. Cmesys has caused an error in GTOOLS.DLL. Cmesys will now close. If you continue.... Gmt has caused an error in GMT.exe. Gmt will now close.....Explorer has caused an error in KERNEL32.DLL. Explorer will now close....
I am not able to click on any of the desktop icons. I can not use CTRL-ALT-DEL. The computer is basically locked up. Any suggestions?

if u have a bootable disk use it and boot to the DOS prompt. Go to the c:\windows\command directory. Type scanreg\fix.Take the boot disk out and restart the system.
