I have a new gateway select 1300 amd athlon (running windows me) which was pre-installed with microsoft works suite 2001 which included microsoft picture-it 2001. Whenever I try to work with a high resolution photograph (either from the program or one I have downloaded with my digital camera, a kodak dc215 zoom digital) my screen goes black and then it turns royal blue with Error:oe:0028:c0058739 it tells me to push any key to continue or hit ctrl alt del to shutdown, but I will lose any unsaved programs. I have been able to actually work with the pictures a couple of times and save it (greeting card); however, when I try to open it up to print it, I get that message. Sometimes it will let me completely open the project, but when I click on the printer icon, it will give that same message. At other times when I am done using the program and shut it down, it will display the error message of "pip has caused an error in kernel 32.dll. pip will now close. if you continue to experience problems, try restarting your computer. Most of the time, I can not clear that message and ultimately have to manually shut down my computer and re-boot. I have a card that I have to print and I really need help in fixing this...Thanks

An exception OE is a General Protection Fault. The memory range seems to indicate it's in a Video Segment. Try updating you video drivers.

Do you run Norton Anti Virus? If so disable it when you use Picture it and see what happens. Picture it has a problem with Norton AV script blocking feature.

I am running an AMD Athlon t-bird and also running ME. Ihave experienced the same error message when I try to open a file in Curious Labs' Poser 4.03. I have a 3D Prophet II GTS 64MB and have updated the drivers to the most current (I've even tried to use nVidia's reference drivers and the same effects occurs -and I know how to completely remove the old drivers soas to not cause a conflict). Is this an AMD bug? I'm running an Abit kt7 mobo with the latest 4in1 drivers from VIA's website. Maybe ME's to blame? Whatever the case, I can make a file in Poser 4.03 (a 3D figure-designing app) and open it a few times and then... out of the blue *bam!* I get a BSOD with that same error message: and the file is officially screwed! Any suggestions? Thanks for reading this.
