Please tell me you do not have cleansweep installed on this system. If you do... uninstall it. It is not compatible with ME.

If not... I cannot find much information about that DLL file. You will need to do a little troubleshooting to figure out which program in your startup group is causing that error message.

To do this:
Go to start>>run>>msconfig
Choose Selective startup.
Take the checkmark out of Load Startup Group Items.
Click apply>>ok and reboot when prompted.

When you get back up... did you get the error message? If not..

Go back to msconfig.
Go to the startup tab.
Check up 5 of the items in the list.
Click apply>ok and reboot.

When you get back up... did you get the error message? If not...

Do the msconfig thing again.

If you did get the error message... one of the last 5 items you checked is causing the error message upon boot up. Go back to msconfig and narrow it down further by unchecking the last bunch one at a time until the error message does not appear.

A note here... take along a pen and a piece of paper to keep track of the last things you checked as the items in msconfig>>startup tend to "rearrange" themselves upon reboot.

Hey newgrl..excellent advice..but why are you knocking cleansweep? It has saved my socks numerous times..I don'ty have enough knowledge to get into the registry to clean things up and as far as I can tell it has worked like a charm for me....

Sorry... I guess I was thinking of another of Nortons programs. I know that several of them did not make it to the 2001 and 2002 versions of their System Works products and are not compatible with ME.

Just be careful with anything that claims to clean out the registry for you. Other than that... enjoy.
