Been gtting this error message lately, went back and backed up from a week ago and did the restore, but still the same error. I just hit ok and everything seems to run fine, just annoying. Can any one tell me what this is and how to stop it at start up? Top of error message says "IORDYUI" if that means anything to anyone. Running ME, (of course) 1.3 Athlon 256 Ram, blah blah blah...thanks in advance.

Have you recently installed any new hardware?
Or has this error message appeared since then? Do you have a Zip drive installed?
If yes, did that install properly?

Try these url's;

I think, you must first check what are your startup files and also clean your registry.
You can download Regcleaner, it has an automatic registry cleaner and you can also check your startup list from there. Use very low resources.Goodluck!

No zip drive and I haven't added any new hardware. Did the reg cleaner thing as posted above and nadda...still getting the same message. Like I said not a show stopper just annoying...any more ideas?
HELLLP...LOL

Try doing some troubleshooting to figure out what is causing your error.
To do this:
Go to start>>run>>msconfig
Click on Selective Startup.
Take the check out of Load Startup Group Items.
Click apply>>ok>>reboot when prompted.Did you get the error?
If you did not, then one of your TSRs is causing the issue. To figure out which one it is...
Grab a pen and a piece of paper.
Go to start>>run>>msconfig
Go to the startup tab.
Put a check in the first five items.
Click apply>>ok>>reboot when prompted.Did you get the error?
If not, go back to msconfig>>the startup tab and check five more items. The pen and piece of paper will come in handy to keep track of what you have checked as the items under the startup tab tend to "rearrange" themselves.
If you did get the message, go back to msconfig>>startup tab and uncheck one of the last five items you checked up. Apply>>ok>>reboot. Do this until you figure out the entry that is causing your issue.
Once you figure it out, uninstall the program that is causing you such grief and let us know what it is... there is very little information about that file anywhere on the net.

New girl:
Worked great. It was the Iomega Drive Icon in the program directory causing the problem. Seems one of the kids tried to load an external 100 MB Zip drive and it never took. I took it out of the program directory and restrted....message gone. Thnaks again for all your help...
