OS: Windows ME
CPU/Ram: 633Mhz/192MB
Comment:

My computer froze and when I rebooted it said: "Error loading explorer.exe and properly.exe." "You must reinstall Windows". That means I loose everything right ? As I don't have enough back-up, I really want to avoid this. Can I copy explorer.exe from my CD over to the system or anything else ? Any help very much appreciated.

Give it a go pete, what have you got to lose?!?!?!

Copying files from cd nearly always works even if file sizes are different and you'd think there's no way on earth!

What is this properly.exe btw?
