Hi there, hope someone can help me solve a problem. i am upgrading win98 to me, it gets up to the point after loading windows and reboots then the error comes on. error an i/o subsytem driver failed to load. so i cannot enter by using f8 cause the os did not load completely. i have tried at the c: prompt ren smartdrv.exe*old and enter and also c:\windows ren smartdrv.exe*old and it says there is no file. can someone help! many many thanks.
