Your e-mail doesn't have an option to delete e-mail? Or you can't see the e-mail size before you download it?

I cannot see the e-mail size before downloading,it goes to this file and an error comes up that says my server has unexpectedly disconnected. Possible causes are:server problems or network problems or maybe file size or inactivety.I have called my server and they said they would delete the offending file. However that was hours ago and so far .no luck. thanks for your input

What program are you using for your e-mail? There should be a setting to change your server timeout settings but it would help to know what program you're using so we can better assist you.

I use a programme called "Pop3 Scan Mailbox" and it enables me to log on to the server check the mail headings and if one appears suspect I can delete it at the server. In these days of virus' galore I never open my e-mail without going to the server first and vetting the mail. i don't have a web address for the programme but the help file provides this e-mail address. Perhaps you could ask the author where the programme can be found. It is freeware by the way.
