Hi I have Easy CD Creator Ver5 and Direct CD. Thers a free update for,,,Easy CD Creator 5 Platinum. What is 5 Platinum? How do i know if i have 5 Platium. I use winMe 850 30 GB 128 Ram Thanks for any help Jenny

I have Easy Cd platinum and u know its platinum if u go to the project selector it says in the top left hand corner under where it says "easy cd creator5".

before you run the 5.02b upgrade, make a restore point, it made my platinum 5.01 stop working,it wouldn't recognize blank cdrs. and then would lock up my computer ,and I had to do a hard reboot to get it back . after restoring it works ok. and I'm back to 5.01 to make a restore point start-programs-accessories-system tools-system restore-create restore point.

I have Platinum 5 and I think it's great. There are a bunch of options. You can get music from the net and it will automatically convert it to CD for your car stereo. It also has photo relay and there are a lot more themes for creating CD labels.
