easy cd creator 4.02

Hi all, was wondering if you could help me out with a problem (dont know to much about computers), I opened my Adaptec Easy Cd Creator 4.02 to burn a disk but I got this message on my screen Component:System SelfReg File group:System SelfReg File:C:\:WINDOWS\SYSTEM\MFC42.DLL An eror during the move data process:-119 So I thought the best thing to do is uninstall and install the program but I keep getting the same message. Thinking it might of been the disk I borrowed the same disk from my freind as he's got the same cd burner on his cp,but I received the same response from my computer. I did a sight search and went to the web site but couldnt find the dll file I am missing. Could you help?

When I purchased a LG CD burner ,it came bundled with Easy CD Creator Ver 4.02, for win 98 and WinMe ,however when I visited thier web site they had a download patch that upgraded ver. 4.02 to ver. 4.03, for Windows Me users ! This was a good 3 years or so ago ,so I have no idea if they still have this free upgrade for WinMe on the web site ,I belive at that time it was Adaptec who was the company that released Easy CD Creator ,and that may have changed hands since ? I went back and checked the version of my Easy CD Creator and under the CD Copier it says its version 4.05 ! Sorry should have checked B/4 I posted info ! Nick
