Audio CDs work but it does not recognise DVD - I have ME, Media Player. In properties device listed as CDRom. Do I need a specific software for reading DVDs - I have been into Drivers and checked I have latest installed - the DVD is generic and came with the PC - no make/model listed. When I explore the DVD in My Computer I get the icons VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS - tried to view in Quick Time and Media player - nothing. Can you help me.
I also changed the "Opens With" by accident and it is set on Media Player now for the Video_TS - how can I get rid of the tick in the ALWAYS VIEW THIS WITH box as it is shaded and won't let me de select? Thank you

Dear Angie,
ofcourse you need a DVD player, you might have already installed it on your PC , so right click again on the media you want to open and go to "open with..." see if you have any DVD player, if not try to instal it from hte cd's that came with your PC. if it is still under gurantee look in the books you got with your PC there must be a free phone no. for software support, they can help you to setup your DVD player.

Pretty costly there EC, is it any good? My Santa Cruz system works fine, and I would be afraid to give my son something else to play with LOL, but am interested to know.
