Hi
I have just purchased a Pioneer 105s, which has hardware region setting. I cannot see where Change the region. I bet its really obvious.
I am not planning to change the firmware Untill i can confirm that DVDs will play on my existing setup.

Thanks in advance

Whats in Question? changing firmware or region..usually with Pioneer drives you will have to obtain a firmware specificaly for your DVD Rom drive to knock out the region lock..then you will have to download some software to allow you to knock out region locks on your software player or hardware player, a good one is remselect.

I had this problem with my Creative Labs DVD player. I finally got it working by using
Toshiba's Region Selector. I put a link here to a site where you can find it. http://resource.toshiba-europe.com/europe/diskproducts/software/dvd/Rpc2util.zip
