I purchased a Toshiba Satellite 2805-S202 laptop. I ran driveinfo.exe and says that the dvd firmware is Mats---a UJDA540 v1.05 and that it has no region protection. So I installed WinDvd and PowerDvd software and also DvdGenie, but the region crack is still not working with neither of them. So, I want to know someone who has the same laptop or dvd-rom as mine and could fortunately cracked the region protection. Please, I need to know that trick! Thanks.

I am in South america and got a satellite 2805 S202 and no dvd region problems since I can make up to 5 zone changes. I know that the US machines are factory locked to zone 1, so: do you think that thereīs a file in my computer that could solve your problem? Iīd like to know if thatīs posible. the OS is Windows ME and in spanish (sorry), I donīt know if itīs a hardware lock and I wanna know. please, let me know what you think to alejoboy@latinmail.com.

same prob here. just emailed a guy who owns www.visualdomain.net to see if he knows anything about it. Creo que podemos hablar castellano entre nosotros.... (pero veo la utilidad de que lo vean los demás en ingles)
