Hiya Well first of al im doing this on behalf of my brother.Basically we have just installed a new MSI DR8-A2 DVD burner. We tried to copy a DVD which only had backup files from my computer to see if the burner worked okay. When we went ahead with burning the DVD (using nero 5 which was bundled with the recorder) this error message appeared 'there is not enough space to burn this compilation onto this medium. please insert another medium that provides more space. medium required for the compliation DVD+R/RW, DVD R/RW. medium type in recorder - empty. So ive tried the following to try and solve this. tried different makes of blank DVD's tried different types of source DVD upgraded nero to 5.5.10.56 upgraded the MSI DR8-A2 firmware but still the error message appears everytime. the burner is reconised as a DVD RW and burns CD's with no problem.So if anyone has come across this problem or has more answers to the problem please post.The computer spec are Windows ME AMD Duron 900Mhz 128 MB memory (dont know type) So if anyone can help that would be great Cheers
