I was wonder if i can use a DSL filter on my dial up connection to free up my phone line. Is this possible? and if not, what are some alternatives other than getting high speed internet.
... but (as is usual here), the usefulness of the replies diminishes towards the end

How very strange - your machine somehow morphed from WinME to XP... and back again

The only other option is to install a second phone line. And with that aditional cost, you might as well get high speed. After all, paying more for a 56K than what high-speed DSL or Cable would cost just isn't good sense.
Summary: Lately my DSL speed has felt more like Dial-Up. Can anyone tell me how I can get the Internet Speed back to what DSL should be? Thanks for the help ...
